Memetic Communications has won the 2020 Content Strategy of the Year award in the UK Content Awards.

The award recognised our strategic approach to positioning out client, Tessella, as experts in AI for complex environments.

This involved identifying strategic customer issues and working with experts to create a programme of high impact and authoritative thought leadership, designed to speak to these challenges and shape decision making.

This was delivered via four high-value ‘thought leadership’ reports, which were then atomised into shorter articles, graphics and videos. These delivered expert insight to a targeted audience via digital, media, social, events and sales - all centred around a consistent set of valuable ideas.

Success has been evidenced by significant and consistent increase in high value sales leads from very senior people.

Presenting the award, BBC presenter Gavin Ramjaun, said: “This was a really nice example of niche marketing. It was a clever way of evolving lead gen from PR to more value adding Thought Leadership content, that could be repurposed across a range of mediums and uses. Fantastic work.”

David Lewis, Founder of Memetic, echoed words in the award entry: "Winning this award is a validation that marketing is not always about who is the loudest, but can also be about who can best articulate business transformational ideas and raise the standard of discussion in their industry."
